Now you can buy a kit, complete with a handmade journal and lots of tools to create your own journal!


I created The Make Your Own Journal Kit as many people told me that they would like to make their own journal, but didn’t know how.

Inside this kit:

  • handmade starter journal
  • double-sided tape
  • Washi tape
  • Fancy-edge scissors
  • ephemera (cut out shapes)
  • words and phrases
  • gold Sharpie
  • gel ink pen (black ink)
  • Glassine envelopes
  • small colored envelopes
  • lace, braid & ribbon
  • different papers
  • bone folder
  • sharp point scissors

How to use the kit:

  • use the journal to add your photos and make it your own
  • use tape easily stick paper to paper
  • use Washi tape to add color to pages
  • use Fancy-edge scissors to create texture with different edges
  • use the words and phrases as you like, and add your own
  • use the gold Sharpie to outline words and pictures to make them stand out
  • use the gel pen for smooth for journal writing
  • use the Glassine envelopes (semi-clear) for holding small items
  • use the small colored envelopes to stick onto pages to hold treasures 
  • use the lace, braid or ribbon to edge pages or to attach to tags
  • use the sheets of paper to make flaps on pages or create layers
  • use the bone folder to make neat creases in paper
  • use  the pointed scissors to cut detailed images accurately
