Secret Garden Journal

This Secret Garden Journal came about because on re-reading the book, I found the initial part of the story to be quite dark.It is only once Sarah has been shown the key to the garden by the robin that she starts to come alive, as does the garden she’s been tending. The journal includes a variety of both printed and dyed pages, and has a color palette of browns, creams, green and pinks, including many plant images. There are places to write about how gardening has helped your life, as it did Sarah’s in the book. There is also ephemera in pockets or beneath a belly band for you to write on and move around.
